The Maine Professional Truck Driving Championships has a long history dating back to 1937 when it was known as the National Truck Rodeo. In 2026, members of the MMTA invited our neighbors to the south from New Hampshire and Vermont to join us, and the event is now called the Northern New England Truck Driving Championships. This competition is held on the third Saturday in May at Dysart’s Trailer Shop in Hermon, Maine. Winners from each of the three states move on to the National Truck Driving Championship hosted by the American Trucking Associations.
