Safety Management Council

To develop and promote methods, materials and procedures, and conduct research for improved safety in the field of motor carrier transportation;
To foster the exchange of ideas and materials on accident prevention among persons, groups and organizations in the field of motor carrier safety;
To develop and promote safety and personnel practices within the trucking industry.
